Josh Howard 87 $9,945,000--$10,890,000--$11,835,000 Marko Jaric 75$6,575,000 - $7,100,000 - $7,625,000 Kris Humphries 67 $3,200,000 $3,200,000 $3,200,000 2009 2nd round draft pick
Total outgoing: 19,720,000 Total incoming: 15,360,000
for
Atlanta's 19th overall pick 2010 Washington First Round Draft Pick(top 2 protected, then in turn they'd go to the wizards pick in 2011) Jamal Crawford 85 9,360,000, $10,080,000 Brendan Haywood 74 6,000,000
Total incoming: 19,720,000 Total Outgoing: 15,360,000
I accept this deal. You may be wondering why I'm willing to take bad contracts for this deal to take place but it's because I have really no SF on my roster. This deal ensures me a starting 5 that is hard to compete with. I'm a Center away from being one of the most dominant teams in the east.
Crawford had to go as he had no place here and Marko Jaric has a place to play off of the bench.
Haywood needed a change of scenery since it's Blatsche's time to do it here in Washington for a while. I'm looking forward to dealing with you all after this deal.
EDIT: Had to fix a mis understanding we had with the protection of the pick.

I was hesitant to make this trade because I really felt blake/oj/howard/bosh/oden can make a run for the title, but I think moving OJ to PG can be okay. This trade kinda downgrades my starters, but it allows me to bring some pieces to trade with and also help on my salary relief.

WHOA BUDDY, B. Haywood has 2 YEARS left on his contract not one.
put his first year contract of $5,500,000 IN.
AND your putting IN all salaries from 2008/2009 not 09/2010. even if it's a warm up season your still putting in this year's salary.

I'm not sure why WAS is giving up so much...crawford is close to howard in talent, yet he is giving up two first rounders and taking back some real crappy contracts

Yea I agree with Dallas here.
Howards Value + (actually minus) Jaric's poor salary value + an almost zero value in Humphries (IMO) + a 2nd rounder
DOES NOT equal
Crawford's value + #19 pick + 1st rounder + nice sized expiring contract in Haywood.
As this deal is, I reject.

He has been a loser for his entire career, and only thanks to JJ he will get his first playoff next season. I'm not saying that he's not a good player, talented player, I'm just saying he is inefficient player. So I can see why would Washington would try to get Howard for him.

In real life, yes. but the sim league doesn't see players as "losers" or anything. their rating is how they play

Even though 2k series somewhat recognizes the part of being a loser, because their personality will affect their game. Same goes for being inefficient, as there is tendencies, which will affect their shot selection.

I accept this. It doesn't seem that bad of a deal to warrant a rejection and I trust both GM's here.
Don't go overboard on rejections guys. This is a legit deal.

At the very least, legit trades have to have the right ratings and salaries list

The reason that I got the better end of the deal is because Josh Howard fits with both our teams much much more than Crawford does. Like I said, I was hesitant to make the trade because I felt Howard would bring me deep into the playoff while crawford would not because my lineup wouldn't fit as well. The 1st he offers me are not lotto first and will end up being late round picks. The idea to this trade is that Wash finally gets a lineup to make a run at the total (Gilbert, Joe Johnson, Josh Howard, Jamison), while I get value (crawford who doesn't fit, but 2 extra late first round picks for the trouble).
To tell you about the negotiation, we came to the point when the trade was fair, but we both agreed that Josh Howard would be better for our team based on fit. At that point I said no, so he added in a little (a future first, but will still be a late pick because of his stacked team), to nudge me into saying yes.
Plus this trade does not match in cap anyways since he used 2010 salary for his team. He'll have to add in Mcguire and Dixon to match the salary).
This trade is legit, i get slightly higher value (who can I trade for with 2 late first anyways) and he gets fit.

Fix the salaries please.
As the deal stands now, though, it would have to be rejected. It doesn't work under the 125% rule. Washington would only be allowed to take in $19,200,000 and he's about 500k over that.
If you fix the salaries to represent 08/09, though, it might work.
