Lacking a serious low-post threat, the Oklahoma City Thunder had been in talks with teams for days to acquire a big man ranging from Toronto's Andrea Bargnani and Memphis' Marc Gasol to Utah's Carlos Boozer, but those talks all stalled for various reasons. In the end it was a spur-of-the-moment move that GM James Hunter says "could easily make or break our team" that landed the Thunder the talented, yet troubled, Zach Randolph. FINALLY!!!!! It was just reported a few minutes ago that Zach Randolph from the Los Angeles Clippers is coming here for the 3rd pick and cap fillers. This is amazing! While keeping our trio intact and not giving up any offseason money our new GM has landed us a long awaited low post presence! Sure, Zbo has had some off court issues but I am excited about the amount of talent he brings to our squad. So according to Thunder sources we have just landed Zach Randolph. Is this it? This is all we can show for the third overall pick? Honestly, I would rather have kept it all than bring in the cancer that is Zach Randolph. I mean I was on board for Boozer, and even was coming around to welcoming Andrea Bargnani, but this just came out of no where. What is the new management thinking? Sure Zach has impressive numbers but he is incredibly overpaid and is an egotistical maniac with tons of off-court and chemistry issues. Is he really the influence our young core needs in the locker room? There's a reason this guy has been team hopping since his Jailblazer days in Portland, and this is just ridiculous that the new GM has agreed to provide a home for a guy who . . .
