I accept...I get a bigman in Kaman and give up Posey and Blake. I'd planned on using Blake as my SG but have a FA in mind for that position and Posey is a very decent role player.

Can I get an explanation from Houston? 2nd round picks are not worth all that much IMO, especially if the team is going to be good, like NOH is. This really makes no sense to me right now. This is a case of a GM using only Ratings and not actual basketball knowledge, IMO.
Personally, I wouldn't trade Kaman alone for all of what he's "getting". Let alone add in a young and talented Landry.
I'm actually not going to wait for an explanation.
I reject the deal as it is right now.
P.S. I see the salary clearing, but this is not a good deal anyway. Poor trade for Houston, Reject.

I reject too.
you gave up Yao Ming (even if his ratings dip he is still good.) for Kaman and picks, and then you downgrade EVEN MORE, by giving up Kaman AND Landry for James Posey and Steve Blake both players that aren't even that great.

I'm just going to add one thing... 08/09 stats Posey 8.9ppg 6.2rpg .6apg .6spg 0bpg Blake 11ppg 2.5rpg 5apg 1spg .1bpg Totals: 19.9 ppg 8.7 rpg, 5.6 apg 1.6 spg .1bpg Kaman 12ppg 8rpg 1.5apg .6spg 1.5 bpg Landry 9.2ppg 5rpg .6apg .4spg .4bpg Totals: 21 ppg 13 rpg 2.1 apg 1 spg 1.9 bpg Those totals are not that far off from each other and ALL the players ratings are overrated, not just the guys I'm sending to Houston. IMO these should be the ratings for the players, but that isn't going to change. Kaman 81/82 Landry 75/76 Blake 75/76 Posey 77/78 So really THIS deal isn't bad...but everyone is looking at the Yao/kaman deal and basing their opinions off what Houston got there. BTW that NOH 09 2nd rounder is now Christian Eyenga if that makes any difference.

I am not looking at the Yao/Kaman deal at all. I stated above, I would not move Kaman for "all" of what you are giving. Let alone add in Landry.
Kaman should be an 82 or so (with even a little bit of potential left in him), Landry about a 76 (with a LOT of potential in him). Blake should be a low 70, around 73-74 (With about zero potential to go up much higher), and Posey is a 76-77, with only lower ratings in his future.
Still a clear reject for me.

I agree...you would only have undersized PF's if you made this trade. However you already accepted so you can't reject it now, so its up to Charlotte to accept/reject

This is why we have people distinctively accept trades that they post NY

I still say it's retarded. If you post it, you obviously accept it. Why the hell would you go through the trouble of posting a trade if you haven't agreed to even do it yet? I mean, I've put together rough outlines in PM's before, but never actually POSTED an entire trade and then said, "hey, see that trade I posted? I reject!" It makes no sense to have to say that you accept, if you are the one that posted.
All you would have to say in this situation is "since you posted it, you accepted it. You can not back out after accepting. Tough luck."

Sorry guys. I was reading this as a player agent and posted here!
I'll have to reject this. Kaman for Posey is IMO a very bad trade. Big men are always valuable and much more so in a sim league. Posey may have some sort of value (taking charges, some clutch shooting and defense) but Kaman will give you rebounds and block shots night in, night out. Plus the intangibles that Posey brings will not be visible in the game. And even if it does, Kaman still cannot be traded for Posey.
I based the above judgment on the grounds that Landry = Blake + 2nd rounders
Sorry NOH. I have to reject this.
