I am sure Memphis is aware that Nate's 2nd year is currently a Qualifying offer, so it is in that weird state of Team Option/RFA thing.
I accept this deal though. Conley gives me more of a true PG who I think can do well in a "free-er" system like D'Antoni's. IRL Conley really turned it on when the Grizz got a new coach who let him do his thing a little more. Conley is also signed more long-term than Nate is, thus giving me a good young PG that I have locked up for awhile. I do lose some ratings, but I gain a player with a real position (and the height to back it up), plus Conley is a little younger and won't need resigned.

I didn't realize that it was finalized how we were going to do that. I thought you brought it up and then...the thread just kind of stopped? Maybe I have to go read it again. Basically, I was looking for an official ruling from Dallas, and I didn't remember seeing that.
